1000 Tree Challenge (“Competition”) Terms and Conditions
- 1. The promoter is Play It Green Ltd, www.playitgreen.com.
- 2. The competition is open to members of the promoter.
- 3. Route to entry for the competition is by pledging via www.playitgreen.com.
- 4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. Nb. Users may sign up for free to Play It Green through the “no subscription” option on sign up.
- 5. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions (T&Cs)
- 6. The competition will start 9am, April 5th 2022 and no trees planted before this time will count towards your total in the challenge.
- 7. Trees that are planted as part of a Play It Greens members subscription will not count towards the competition.
- 8. For the first 10 companies or people to successfully complete the 1000 Tree Challenge by planting 1000 Trees in their www.playitgreen.com Forest Garden page, within the T&Cs of the competition, the promoter will plant an extra 100 trees in their respective Forest Gardens.
- 9. All participants who successfully complete the 1000 tree challenge will receive an electronic certificate and acknowledgment however only the first 10 bodies to complete will be rewarded with an additional 100 trees.
- 10. The 10 winners will be notified by email within 14 days after they planted 1,000 trees and verified by the Promoter. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- 11. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- 12. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- 13. The prize is as stated, not transferable and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
- 14. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- 15. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- 16. The competition and these T&Cs will be governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
- 17. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation.
- 18. The user agrees to being contacted by Play It Green.
- 19. No information will be disclosed to a third party, in full compliance with the Play It Green’s Privacy Policy
- 20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Play It Green Ltd and not to any other party,
- 21. The promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
- 22. The promoter also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
- 23. Play It Green employees and their close relatives may participate as it is a good cause but are not eligible to win or be rewarded as part of the competition.

- 24. The Offer will run from April 15th2022 to April 25th 2022.
- 25. For the first 100 companies or people to successfully sign up and activate the 1000 Tree Challenge in their www.playitgreen.comForest Garden page, within the T&Cs of the competition, the promoter will plant 2 trees in the respective Forest Gardens.
- 26. To activate the 1000 Tree Challenge, the user needs to sign up as the Play It Green member and creates “1000 Tree Challenge” in the respective Forest Garden pages.
